Senseo Single Serve Coffee Machine

The Senseo Single Serve Coffee Machine has been designed to serve single cups of coffee using coffee pods. It’s a very popular machine basically because it is easy to use and most of all because it produces a fantastic cup of coffee with the added addition of a frothy top layer.

It’s so simple to use that you fill it with water and then add the coffee pods. Once you have switched on the machine you then simply select whether you would like to have one cup of coffee or two cups. Just so you know if you are making one cup this is equivalent to 4 ounces. Many people like to have larger cups (or mugs) and this can easily be done by selecting that to cup option but this of course requires you to use two pods, which is an added expense.

This is definitely an ideal coffee maker for a small office or if you are short of space in your home. The water reservoir can hold 20 ounces of water which allows you to make about 4 cups of coffee.

What do we like

• It can make a cup of coffee in around 60 seconds
• All parts are removable and they can easily be placed in the dishwasher
• If you forget to switch it off it has an automatic switch off after one hour

Is there anything we don’t like

Reading the various reviews on websites some consumers were not satisfied with the coffee pods from Senseo, which the machine has been designed to use. Many of them, preferred to use different pod brands and seemed to be a lot happier with this decision. I guess we all have different tastes.
