If you are considering buying a bunch of them there are a number of things you need to do to ensure that you make the right choice. Of course you’re going to have two spend time doing a little research, which to be honest is not a bad thing really.

You need to ensure that the oven handle the host any in that it is securely attached to the molded ears as you’ll see on the side of the. If possible try and avoid any oven that have riveted on ears because over time these could become a little weak and can’t possibly be dangerous. You’ll notice as you shop around at some handles lay down flat, you really want to try and avoid these types as you want to look for a handle that will stand at 45 degrees. This is to ensure that it is safe to pick up when needed.

1) if you’re considering using this already, for you must ensure that it has legs. They need to belong in a so it’s not touching the coal and that air can get on the need to keep the fire going.

2) if you are going to be using it at home you don’t have to worry about legs so you’ll need one with a flat bottom.

3) check that the lid fits correctly, you need to make sure that it lie’s flush with the lid off the oven all the way around and that you can see no significant gaps.
